It doesn't always have to be the big names in stand-up comedy to have a lot of fun. The cult show Nightwash, which offers newcomers a stage, has been proving this for years - after its success in previous years, live on board the KD again this year.

The stand-up comedy format, which has won the German Comedy Award, has been presenting renowned comedians and the latest talents on the comedy scene from the laundromat and nationwide with over 150 live dates for a quarter of a century.

Today's stars and starlets such as Felix Lobrecht, Özcan Cosar, Chris Tall, Tahnee, Bastian Bielendorfer, Enissa Amani, Olaf Schubert, Bülent Ceylan, Torsten Sträter, Markus Krebs, Simon Stä blin, Maria Clara Groppler, Osan Yaran, Tutty Tran, Nico Stank, Negah Amiri, Carl Josef, and many more made their first stage appearances at the legendary cult comedy laundromat.

Laura, an experienced musical theater performer, has conquered stages across Germany and Austria not only with her roles in popular productions such as “The Jungle Book” and “Tarzan.” Since 2020, she has appeared in shows like “Ladies Night Youngstars,” “NightWash,” and the “Stuttgart Comedy Clash,” and has been winning over the hearts of comedy audiences left and right with her humor ever since.

Lukas Wandke

Lukas Wandke, the comedian who never actually wanted to be one, suddenly found himself on stage and has been happily wandering through life with a microphone ever since. He comes from the idyllic town of Bad Münster am Stein Ebernburg—a place with more different colors of trash cans than residents. His time as a private student in Cologne shaped him, as he realized that the admission criteria aren’t just rich parents, a Mini Cooper, or a lousy high school diploma—no, much worse: it’s the sailing shoes! On stage, the audience experiences alongside Lukas the typical “problems” of a graduate searching for a job and a girlfriend. His colossal failures in life’s little things, like cooking, grocery shopping, conversations with his doting grandma, or observing stressed-out corals. He describes his life this way: “Everything was fine, but ever since I can’t get a slice of meat sausage at the butcher’s anymore, my life has spiraled out of control…”
