200 school classes - 200 KD moments
200 years of KD! This must be celebrated! We are inviting 200 school classes from North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate and Hesse to a free trip on board
Participation & application
- Participation free of charge (school classes of all school types)
- Each school may apply with several classes (max. 30 children + 3 teachers / accompanying persons)
- Start of the application phase: 06.11.2025
- Registration by 15.12.2025 via an online form on the KD website
- The first 200 registrations win: "First Come, First Serve" principle
- Notification of school classes: January 2026
Procedure & Organization
- Period: 2026 season (04.04. - 18.10.2026)
- Driving areas: North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate and Hesse
- Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 10.00 a.m. - 1.00 p.m.
- Trips: round trips or scheduled trips (depending on location and timetable)
- Drinks and meals on a self-pay basis
- Appointment requests are allocated according to availability
Safety & support
- Teachers and accompanying persons are responsible for the duty of supervision
- KD ensures safety on board in accordance with the conditions of carriage
Legal basis
- Participation only after complete registration
- The general conditions of carriage of KD apply
- KD reserves the right to postpone or cancel trips in the event of unforeseeable events (e.g. high/low water)
- Legal recourse is excluded
