Zons has retained much of its medieval charm and is a worthwhile destination for a day trip. The KD takes you there and back in comfort.
A Rhine cruise - especially upstream - is not for speed fanatics, but all the more for connoisseurs. It takes three hours by boat from Düsseldorf to Zons. But this leisurely pace is perfect for this wonderful day trip. During the trip, you can relax and enjoy the passing scenery and delicious food from the included lunch buffet. Once you arrive in Zons, you will have plenty of time to explore this medieval gem of the Lower Rhine extensively before returning to the state capital by boat in the afternoon.
