Köln-Düsseldorfer Deutsche Rheinschiffahrt GmbH is celebrating a major anniversary in 2026. The company will be a proud 200 years old. The exciting history of KD officially began on June 11, 1826 with the founding of the Preußisch-Rheinische Dampfschiffahrts-Gesellschaft.
This 200-year history is peppered with exciting and surprising stories, characterized by the faces of the people who are part of these stories, and there are countless secrets that are far from being revealed. From January 2026, 200 stories, faces and secrets await you on all KD channels under the motto #kdmoments.
