Introduction

At KD , the focus is on people. We have a special responsibility for our employees, which is why we are always concerned about their well-being. We also attach great importance to ensuring that our guests feel comfortable on board, which is why we do everything we can to ensure the satisfaction and safety of our guests. As part of the community in which we operate, we also assume social responsibility and are actively committed to the well-being of the people around us. Through joint team events, such as our participation in the Rhine Clean up, we set an example for environmental protection. On our website, we also report on local institutions that take on social responsibility, e.g. the KRAKE association, which operates a garbage trap in the Rhine and which our Cologne panoramic cruises pass every day. Our social commitment extends beyond the banks of the river and includes the promotion of education, culture, healthcare and social justice. In order to live up to this claim, KD takes responsibility and has set itself ambitious goals in the following areas. Our overarching goal is to create positive added value for our guests, employees and society through meaningful measures.

Customer relations

We conduct regular customer surveys to continuously improve our relationship with our customers. We collect feedback in the areas of service quality, comfort, cleanliness, gastronomic offerings and recommendations. This enables us to identify current development potential and respond specifically to the wishes of our guests.

Passenger safety

In order to guarantee the safety of our guests, we conduct monthly safety briefings for the nautical and technical crew and on-board personnel.

Accessibility

Seven of our ships are barrier-free: MS Asbach, MS Godesburg, MS RheinGalaxie, MS RheinMagie, MS RheinFantasie, MS RheinHarmonie, MS RheinVision - MS Asbach & MS Godesburg also received the nationwide "Travel for all" award
