With the historic paddlewheel ship Goethe through the Middle Rhine Valley
A boat tour through the Middle Rhine Valley is a pleasure in itself. But on board the historic paddlewheel boat Goethe, this Rhine cruise becomes truly unforgettable.
What a combination: the steep vineyards, legendary castles and idyllic Rhine towns of the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley, plus the legendary Loreley and a ship that exudes the charm of times gone by. These are the ingredients of the KD Nostalgia Route. On board the faithfully restored paddlewheel ship Goethe from 1913, it takes you from Koblenz to Rüdesheim and back. You can get on and off at any KD landing stage along the route. Departure is daily from April 26 to October 5 at 09:00 from Koblenz to Rüdesheim and back again at 16:15.
