Welcome to the cradle of Rhine Romanticism! Between Koblenz and Rüdesheim, castles line the banks of the Rhine in close succession. The best way to admire them is from a boat on the KD Castle Cruise.
The number of castles in the Upper Middle Rhine Valley is unique in the world and ensured that this section of the river is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With the KD , you can cruise past all these fascinating buildings in a relaxed manner. Enjoy the view of Ehrenbreitstein Fortress and Stolzenfels Castle in Koblenz or the legendary Katz and Maus castles from the ship. You will also come across the never-destroyed medieval Marksburg Castle, Schönburg Castle near Oberwesel, Pfalz Castle near Kaub and Stahleck Castle in Bacharach on our castle cruise. Not a castle, but also a fascinating sight is the legendary Loreley Rock.
