Bernkastel-Kues, picturesquely situated on the banks of the Moselle, is an idyllic little town that enchants visitors with its historic charm and breathtaking vineyards.

In addition to the picturesque old town with its half-timbered houses and historic market square, the ruins of Landshut Castle, which towers high above the town and offers a spectacular view of the Moselle and the surrounding area, are a highlight. The Cusanus Abbey, a former monastery, now houses the Cusanus Museum and commemorates the famous philosopher Nikolaus von Kues, who was born here.
