Your responsibilities in daily ship and river cruise shipping

• On our passenger ships in the KD, you will ensure the safety of passengers on board when boarding and disembarking, as well as during the voyage. 
• Maintain and service ships and equipment, including technical facilities on board and ship operating technology  
• Training in travel planning as well as navigation, steering, and monitoring of ships
• Working with state-of-the-art communication and navigation systems
• Getting to know safety precautions and rescue measures
• Collaborating with the crew to ensure smooth ship operations

What we want from you 

• A completed school degree (at least a secondary school diploma) and you are at least 16 years old.
• Interest in mathematics and geography
• Good language skills in German and English
• Basic swimming badge
• Interest in shipping and willingness to take on responsibility 
• Manual dexterity and technical understanding 
• Want to give your best as part of a team? 
• Willingness to discover new things and approach others with an open mind 
• A high degree of initiative, resilience, personal commitment, and flexibility for shift work, weekends, and holidays 
• You enjoy working in a team and are willing to travel for our trips along the Rhine.
