Rhine in Flames Koblenz
The gigantic spectacle at the gateway to the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley has captivated hundreds of thousands of visitors every year since 1956. Be fascinated by the sight of the numerous ships taking part in one of the largest parades of ships in Europe.
On the journey from Koblenz to Spay, you will experience the Middle Rhine Valley at dusk, while on the return journey the castle and palace mountains of the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley are bathed in red Bengal fire, transporting the viewer into another world. At around 11 p.m., you will then experience the highlight of the evening: a firework display of superlatives against the impressive backdrop of the fortress.
