LUNA SEATING PARTY
Greesbergers' After-Party
For over 20 years, the residents of Greesberg have been celebrating their “Luna” carnival party on the ships of the Köln-Düsseldorfer. Every year, the party takes place on the Saturday before the carnival season. Except for the years following the COVID-19 pandemic, the party has always been sold out.
For our youth dance group and dance troupe, this is always a home game. Despite the cramped stage, both dance groups consistently deliver top-notch performances. Over the years, we’ve been able to feature well-known acts such as Bläck Fööss, Paveier, Kasalla, Cat Ballou, and Räuber. The Greesbergers have also always given up-and-coming Cologne bands a chance to perform, and over the years these bands have become an integral part of the Cologne Carnival. A highlight of every event is always the cruise on the Rhine, which lasts about an hour.
