Unkel
On the sunny side of the Siebengebirge mountains lies the small wine town of Unkel am Rhein, which is also the administrative seat of the municipality of the same name.
The picturesque streets lined with half-timbered buildings and the beautiful, traffic-free riverside promenade give the town a very special flair. Unkel's hospitality, local specialties and Rhenish joie de vivre have prompted many well-known personalities to choose the red wine town as their place of residence.

Information about the landing stage
- The KD landing stage in Unkel is suitable for passengers with reduced mobility.
- Passengers are requested to arrive approx. 15 minutes before the desired departure time.
- Demand stop for KD ships. Passengers who have not purchased their ticket at the KD Ticket Office in Unkel are therefore requested to report to the Ticket Office on site.
- Payment options on site: Cash, credit card (Eurocard, Mastercard)
Your journey by train/local public transport
Unkel train station, approx. 15 minutes on foot.
Your journey by car
From the B 42 from the north (Bonn)
Take the exit to the right to Unkel, along Siebengebirgsstraße, past the train station, then turn right into Bahnhofstraße and follow it to the corner of Kamener Straße, from there you can turn right into the parking lot next to the VR-Bank (parking is permitted there for 2 hours). Walk a few meters from the parking lot towards the Rheinanlage and you will see the KD jetty on your left.
From the B42 coming from the south (Linz/Rhine)
Turn left at the traffic lights, go straight on through the traffic circle across Linzer Straße, turn right into Kamener Straße, the parking lot is on the left behind the Schulstraße entrance. You can park here without a time limit. From the parking lot, walk north along Kamener Straße to the corner of Bahnhofstraße and from there across the parking lot next to the VR-Bank to the Rhine.
Travel information for coaches
A bus parking lot is located next to the car parking lot on Kamener Straße.
