Oberwesel

Oberwesel is located in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley and is also known as the town of towers and wine.

In the town, which is characterized by the Middle Ages, visitors embark on a true journey through time with the Schönburg castle, the accessible town wall, fortified towers, churches and museums. The town is the starting point for many hikes, bike tours, boat trips and is also the venue for nationally renowned events such as "Rhine in Flames" or the medieval Spectaculum.
