Königswinter

The picturesque wine village of Königswinter lies on the right bank of the Rhine and stretches all the way up to the Drachenfels summit.

Königswinter has countless sights and stories to offer. From here, you can also reach Germany's first nature reserve, the Siebengebirge. The "Petersberg" hotel stands high above, often the scene of political discussions throughout history. Take the oldest cog railroad up the hill to the Romanesque Drachenfels castle ruins and enjoy a magnificent view of the Rhine Valley. Drachenburg Castle is located halfway up the Drachenfels.

Information about the landing stage

The KD Landebrücke in Königswinter is suitable for passengers with reduced mobility.
Passengers are requested to arrive approx. 15 minutes before the desired departure time.
Tickets are available here in the online store, on board the ships or at the KD ticket office on site.
Payment options on site: Cash, EC, credit card

Your journey by train/local public transport

Line 66 to the stop "Fähre/Sea Life Aquarium" in Königswinter-Mitte", directly opposite is the KD landing stage.
Alternatively, take the regional train to Königswinter station, from there approx. 10 - 15 minutes on foot.

Your journey by car

Coming from the A3, take the Siebengebirge exit in the direction of Königswinter. Coming from the A59/B42, please take the Rhöndorf exit. Then follow the public guidance system to the parking lots of the city of Königswinter (subject to charge).

Travel information for coaches

There is a bus stop opposite the KD landing stage in front of the Sea Life Aquarium. Or use the bus parking lots P1 or P8 in Königswinter.
