Bad Salzig

Bad Salzig is the only mineral spa in the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley.

Bad Salzig, which belongs to the town of Boppard, is located opposite the Sterrenberg and Liebenstein castles, known as the Hostile Brothers. It is characterized above all by the spa park with its trees, some of which are 100 years old. Bad Salzig was also famous for its cherry cultivation. Numerous orchards can still be found here today. There is a beautiful view of the town from the Fünfseenblick observation tower.

Information about the landing stage

Unfortunately, the ticket office is not staffed. However, the station is served by regular services according to the timetable.
Tickets are available here in the online store or on board the ship.
The KD landing stage in Bad Salzig is suitable for passengers with reduced mobility.
Passengers are requested to arrive approx. 15 minutes before the desired departure time.
Passengers who have not purchased their ticket at the KD Ticket Office in Bad Salzig are requested to report to the Ticket Office on site.
Payment options on board: Please note that we only accept cashless payments when purchasing tickets on board (no minimum purchase, no fees!).

MRB (Mittelrheinbahn) station Boppard - Bad Salzig, approx. 10 minutes on foot.

Your journey by car

The KD landing stage is located directly on the B9 near the town center. There are public parking spaces in Rheinbabenallee and Rheinuferstraße, which run parallel to the B9.
