Your responsibilities
- You will gain comprehensive insights into all areas of the kitchens on our 15 ships.
- You will assist with a wide variety of events on board, e.g., party cruises, charter cruises, brunch, lunch, and dinner cruises, as well as special events and other formats.
- You will learn how to prepare, cook, arrange, and serve cold and hot dishes for various types of events and guest concepts.
- You will assist with buffets, menus, flying food, and à la carte offerings.
- You will be trained in the sustainable use of food and resources in accordance with HACCP standards.
- You will be responsible for ordering, receiving, and storing goods in a professional manner.
- You will assist in creating menus and menu suggestions and advise our guests.
What we want from you
- At least a secondary school diploma (Fachoberschulreife)
- Enthusiasm for food, cooking, and food processing
- Craftsmanship, creativity, and natural culinary curiosity
- Team spirit, reliability, and enjoyment of working in a lively environment
