The event ship of superlatives
Whether for spectacular events, conferences, trade fairs, party or gourmet cruises - KD 's latest ship impresses with its innovative design and high-quality equipment, the likes of which have never been seen on any other KD ship before. The 85 m long and 14 m wide event ship can accommodate up to 1,000 passengers, offers a usable area of approx. 2,500 square meters and unique VIP viewing platforms.
To the thunderous applause of around 350 invited guests, many walkers and onlookers on the banks of the Rhine in Düsseldorf, the latest KD MS RheinGalaxie was christened on Friday, April 22, 2022 and then set off on its maiden voyage. Since then, the MS RheinGalaxie has been used as a new, trendy event location, primarily in Düsseldorf, Cologne and Bonn.

Ultra-modern multifunctional ship with innovative design
The clear lines of the 85-metre-long and 14-metre-wide ship have a modern, spacious and inviting feel. Thanks to the warm and light interior, which appears open and spacious and is accentuated with atmospheric lighting, the up to 1,000 guests feel welcome on board.
Accessibility
Guests with limited mobility are well catered for on board. Access is at ground level and an elevator leads to all decks. A wheelchair-accessible disabled toilet is also available.

Worth knowing
The MS RheinGalaxie is the newest ship in the KD fleet and has been awarded the Green Award in Gold, an internationally renowned environmental prize from the independent Green Award Foundation based in Rotterdam. MS RheinFantasie had previously achieved the silver standard.
