General information
Is there a dress code for party trips?
Yes, there is a dress code. The following applies to all KD : Boarding may be Boarding if your outfit or behavior is inappropriate. In such cases, the fare will not be refunded.

Is there a checkroom on board?
Cologne
- For our party and event cruises in fall and winter as well as for the brunch and afternoon cruises during Advent in Cologne, there is a chargeable and staffed checkroom (2 euro fee) on the ships. The checkroom is included on the all-inclusive evening cruises in Advent and the New Year's Eve events. Here too, jackets are collected by KD staff.
- There will also be a checkroom for the party trips in Cologne in April and until the end of May at the latest. Please note, however, that we generally no longer offer a checkroom later in the summer or when temperatures are warm.
Düsseldorf
On our party and event cruises in fall and winter as well as on the brunch and afternoon cruises in Advent, there is a chargeable and staffed checkroom (2 euro fee) on the ships. The checkroom is included on the all-inclusive Advent evening cruises and the New Year's Eve events. Here too, jackets are collected by KD staff.
Mainz
On our Advent cruises on MS Godesburg in Mainz there is a free, unguarded checkroom. On the all-inclusive New Year's Eve cruise, there is a checkroom with staff.

Is there a minimum age for evening/party/event rides?
Unless otherwise stated, a minimum age of 18 years applies to KD party trips and all other designated trips. Persons under the age of 18 are therefore not admitted, even if accompanied by parents/legal guardians.
When and where can I find the photos of the party trips?

We usuallyuploadthe photos to our Facebook page,kd.rheinschiffahrt, by Wednesday of the following week. We also post a small selection of photos on Instagram and use our Instagram Story to let our followers know which photos have been uploaded.
Is there an offer for birthday, cake or flower arrangements?
Cake, flower and decoration arrangements can be ordered on request / availability for an additional charge. Please contact the KD head office.
What needs to be considered in the event of low/high water?
We will provide information on the KD website about last-minute cancellations. If the trip is canceled by KD , the rightful ticket holder will be refunded the ticket price against return of the ticket at the advance booking office where the ticket was purchased.
Can I take my dog/guide dog with me?
Dogs are only allowed on the one-hour panoramic trips and on regular scheduled trips. Dogs are not permitted on all party and event trips.

Is there anything to eat on the party trips?
At our snack bar we offer tasty snacks and snacks.
Departure
When should I arrive at the landing stage?
Passengers should arrive at the pier or check in at the on-site ticket office at least 15 minutes before the ship’s scheduled departure time. Please also note the specified boarding times.
Please note that for special event cruises, Boarding is Boarding permitted after the ship Boarding departed, including during any stopovers. Once you have left the ship, reboarding is generally not permitted.
Where can I find the party ship?
The ship movement lists for the respective calendar weeks are available in our magazine on the homepage. In the PDF documents for Cologne and Düsseldorf, the line "KD Events" contains the respective party with the name of the ship and the landing stage.
In Düsseldorf, the MS RheinGalaxie usually departs from Düsseldorf Burgplatz for our party cruises.
In Cologne, these are usually the ships MS RheinFantasie or MS RheinMagie. The landing stages are located below the Heumarkt.
Is the ship waiting for booked passengers?
Please note that once the ship has departed, Boarding is no Boarding permitted, even during any stopovers. Once you have left the ship, you will not be allowed to reboard under any circumstances.
During the journey
Do the parties take place indoors and outdoors?
We usually have a DJ in the indoor area and on the open deck in spring/summer. The parties usually start on the outdoor deck. Please note that the parties continue indoors from 10 p.m. until the end of the event due to official noise protection regulations. In bad weather, the live acts, e.g. at the Mallorca Party, take place indoors.
How long can you party on the open-air deck?
Due to official noise protection regulations, our party and event cruises can only take place on the open deck until 10.00 pm. The party with music and DJ then continues inside the ship until the end of the respective event.
Is smoking allowed on board?
The consumption of tobacco products and comparable products (e-cigarettes) is only permitted in the specially designated outdoor areas of the ships.
The consumption of cannabis products is strictly prohibited on board KD ships. A violation can lead to exclusion from the trip/voyage. A refund of the fare is excluded in this case.
Can I pay by card?
Safe and fast – Only cashless payments are accepted on board for party and event trips. No minimum amount, no fees!
Photographs
I was photographed during a party. When and where can I find the photos?
We usually receive the photos from our photographers at the beginning of the week. Please note that it can take up to a week for the corresponding gallery to be uploaded to Facebook. You can find the photos on our Facebook account kd.rheinschiffahrt in the Photos section. On the day of publication, we will inform you about this on our Instagram account kd.rheinschiffahrt.
I have discovered myself in the photo gallery on Facebook. Can I get the original photos?
Please download the photos in the corresponding gallery. Unfortunately, we cannot answer individual photo requests. You are welcome to contact the photographer (name in the album) directly.
