Bonn

Bonn is one of the oldest cities in Germany and is known to many as the former federal capital, idyllically situated on both sides of the Rhine.
The lively and cosmopolitan city with over 2000 years of history is considered the northern gateway to the Romantic Rhine, which begins just south of Bonn. The trip from Bonn to Königswinter or Linz, which leads to the nearby Siebengebirge mountains and the legendary Drachenfels, is particularly attractive.
