Lots of variety on board the KD in Cologne
In 2026, guests aboard KD— the MS RheinMagie, MS RheinFantasie, MS RheinVision, and MS RheinDiamond —can look forward to a diverse program featuring culinary delights, entertainment, and special event formats. In addition to comedy, readings, and party cruises, the focus will be on exclusive dinner events. A highlight of the anniversary year is the big celebration weekend on August 1 and 2, featuring the Cologne Lights and Open Deck Day in Cologne.
Gourmet Delights and Lifestyle on the Rhine
With its new "Dinner & Dance Moments" event series, the MS RheinDiamond
(formerly MS Jules Verne) transforms Saturday evenings into an exclusive dinner and party experience.
Guests enjoy a seasonal three-course menu accompanied by lounge music and, optionally, selected premium wines from regional vintners. Afterward, a DJ gets everyone dancing with the latest chart hits and club sounds.
Dates: April 18 (with winemaker Juliane Eller), July 27, September 19, and December 5.
Over the winter, the MS RheinDiamond underwent not only a technical overhaul but also a visual redesign. Its futuristic design, featuring striking lines and expansive glass facades, makes it an exceptional venue for exclusive charter cruises and special KD between Düsseldorf and Mainz, as well as on the Main River in Frankfurt.
Another culinary highlight is the KD Market in Cologne: trendy dishes prepared live—from pasta baked in a Parmesan wheel to freshly sliced roast beef and truffle fries—are paired with select beverages, the KD , and the specially created anniversary drink “1826 Spritz.” Laid-back music sets the perfect urban vibe.
For the first time, KD is hosting an exclusive fine dining event KD September 3 as part of the
Fine Food Days Cologne. KD and The Dutch restaurant will present a modern fusion menu paired with beverages—served during an evening cruise on the Rhine.
Comedy and Cabaret
In 2026, KD once again KD top-notch entertainment on board: On October 4, Nightwash Live Comedy will perform with new stand-up comedians, while cabaret artist Jürgen Becker will combine witty entertainment with a specially curated three-course meal on his “Deine Disco” dinner cruise on December 14—

Open-air dance floor every Friday
KD popular Friday night party lineup KD back: the Sion-Kölsch Disco, 80s/90s Party, Express Ü29, and Mallorca Party—featuring live acts like Stefan Stürmer and Ikke Hüftgold—are sure to create a lively atmosphere on board. Due to high demand, the first additional dates have already been announced. Classics like the May Dance and trips for Mother’s and Father’s Day remain staples of the program.
Children's rides for the youngest guests
The KD also has KD experiences in store for younger guests: new pirate cruises and a magical treasure hunt in the jungle invite children ages three to eleven to embark on special adventures on board.

Cologne Classics on the Rhine
The daily one-hour panoramic tours in Cologne, as well as the popular trips to Drachenfels in the Siebengebirge, remain a regular feature of the program. Day trips to Zons and Monheim round out the offerings.
From June through the end of September, the popular Thursday-through-Saturday evening lounge cruises featuring a DJ will also take place in Cologne and Bonn. For the first time, this popular event will also be offered in Wiesbaden and Mainz in 2026.
