KD the 2026 season with new event highlights
With its spectacular event ship, the MS RheinGalaxie, Köln-Düsseldorfer Deutsche Rheinschiffahrt GmbH is bringing a fresh wave of excitement to Düsseldorf’s event scene. In 2026, guests can look forward to a diverse mix of culinary delights, live entertainment, and a genuine club atmosphere. From stylish dinner experiences to special show events and trendy DJs, the Rhine will become the stage for unforgettable evenings.
Exclusive dinner cruises on board
Two culinary highlights are set to define Düsseldorf’s summer event calendar: At KD Market on June 17 and September 2, KD chefs will showcase KD full range of skills. Guests will enjoy sophisticated creations and select highlights from the current menu—freshly prepared at various live cooking stations. These will be paired with complementary wines and cocktails, accompanied by lounge music. Tickets: 79 euros

Just as enjoyable are the “Dinner & Dance Moments” on June 27 and December 4, 20
. As the MS RheinDiamond glides along the Rhine, guests can look forward to a seasonal three-course meal in a relaxed atmosphere, accompanied by premium wines from regional vintners. Afterward, the evening transforms into a modern lifestyle event on the water—featuring club music and the latest chart hits. Tickets: 99 euros.
Following its successful debut in 2025 , the KD is KD participating in the culinary event “Chefs in Town.” Michelin-starred chef Philipp Vogel from Orania.Berlin will be making a guest appearance on board and will collaborate with the KD to create a special culinary experience. Guests can look forward to a diverse menu featuring various food stations, including highlights such as his famous X-Berg Duck. Tickets are 149 euros, all-inclusive.
A touch of glamour, glitz, magic, and great entertainment awaits guests at Hollywood Night on December 13. Following the success of “Frank Sinatra & Friends,” artist Nadine Ciechocinski presents her new show , “100 Years of Marilyn Monroe.” Accompanied by a three-course meal, guests will experience the stars and starlets of the Golden Age up close. Thrills and Delights at a Murder Mystery Dinner
At the next-level murder mystery dinner“Jugglers & Crooks,” thrilling entertainment meets spooky yet delightful dining fun. Guests will solve “The Lost Cases of Sherlock Holmes” while enjoying an exquisite three-course meal. Date: November 29.
Open-air party atmosphere on the MS RheinGalaxie
In 2026, the Rhine will become a dance floor. KD Düsseldorf party calendar KD with the traditional “Dance into May” event on April 30 and brings a true open-air vibe to the water all summer long. New to the lineup is the All White Party —a stylish summer night dressed entirely in white, featuring a Summer Edition on June 26 and a Golden Season Edition on October 9.
Events like the House Wine Cruise (June 20 and August 22) and the Summer Beats
(June 5, July 3 and 31, August 21, September 18) combine sundowner vibes with a dance floor atmosphere. At the Beats on Board party series, DJane Sintica spins cool beats on deck
(August 14, October 2).
Schlager fans will also get their money’s worth. At the Schlager Welle, well-known artists from the Schlager scene such as Conner Meister, Norman Langen, and Daniel Lopes
will take the stage. Special highlights include events like Ghost Ship Halloween on
October 31, as well as the laid-back Italian Sunday event Bella Italia (June 28, August 23).
Tickets for all party cruises are available in advance starting at 34 euros.
Panoramic tours, evening lounge cruises, and day trips
The one-hour panoramic cruises in Düsseldorf, with up to six departures daily, remain a staple of the program. In addition to the MS RheinGalaxie, the MS RheinPoesie—
’s second ship—will also be in service in Düsseldorf. Starting June 4, the popular evening lounge cruises with a DJ will also resume—every Thursday for two hours, offering views of the city’s evening skyline.
For day trips, there are trips on Wednesdays to Duisburg, Monheim, Zons, and
Cologne.
