Dear ladies and gentlemen, dear friends of KD,
Köln-Düsseldorfer Deutsche Rheinschiffahrt GmbH is postponing the start of the season until 15th May 2020, subject to official approvals. Until this time, no KD boat cruises, such as panorama cruises, scheduled services and event cruises, will take place on the Rhine, Main and Moselle. KD will then start with round trips in the cities of Cologne and Düsseldorf on 15th May. The first scheduled services to the Siebengebirge and the Middle Rhine will start on 21st May. Round trips in Frankfurt am Main and Cochem on the Moselle will start on 30th May. You can find detailed information on the respective product pages on our website. We are constantly updating our programme in line with the latest developments.
If you have purchased tickets for a boat cruise or event on board that was due to take place before the date we are allowed to resume services, we will contact you as soon as possible to rebook your tickets for a possible later date or to discuss other alternatives with you. If you cannot take your trip at another time, we will be happy to issue you a KD voucher. The KD voucher is valid until the end of the third year after issue and can also be redeemed in KD’s online shop, at all KD sales points and on board our boats. Tickets for KD cruises and KD events after the date we resume services remain valid until further notice.
If you have booked an event cruise through one of our event partners, please check with them whether the cruise can take place under the current official rules.
Please refrain from contacting us with individual queries and please be aware that it will take a few days before we can contact each passenger. We will generally contact you by e-mail and according to urgency (date of the booked boat cruise). We assure you that we will always find accommodating and customer-friendly solutions.
Due to the current situation, our KD Service Centre is only partially staffed for the time being:
