Information concerning the landing stage

• The KD landing-stage in Unkel is accessible to passengers with restricted mobility.
• Passengers are requested to be at the landing-stage 15 minutes before the scheduled sailing time. 
• Passengers who have not purchased their ticket at the KD ticket office in Unkel are requested to report at the ticket office.
• Payment options: cash, Maestro, credit card (Eurocard, Mastercard).

Getting to the landing-stage by public tranport

By regional train to Unkel Station, approx 15 min. walk.

Getting to the landing-stage by car

From the north (Bonn) on the main road B42: 
turn right at the exit to Unkel, follow the road (Siebengebirgsstrasse) past the station, then turn right into Bahnhofstrasse, at the junction with Kamener Strasse there is a car park (maximum stay 2 hours) next to the VR Bank. From there it is only a short walk to the Rhine and the KD landing-stage. 

From the south (Linz) on the main road B42:
turn left at the traffic lights, straight on over the roundabout, follow Linzer Strasse, turn right into Kamener Strasse. At the junction with Schulstrasse there is an unlimited stay car park. From the car park walk to the north along Kamener Strasse, then left into Bahnhofstrasse and through the car park at the VR Bank to the Rhine and the KD landing-stage.

Information for coaches

There is a coach park next to the car park in Kamener Strasse.

Members of the history club will help you get to know Unkel, with its attractive old half-timbered houses, lanes and places of interest. You can obtain further information from the Geschichtsverein Unkel e.V.

Willy-Brandt-Forum

The Bürgerstiftung (Community Foundation) Unkel preserves the memory of this famous inhabitant of the town. The Museum zur Zeitgeschichte (Museum of Contemporary History) is located in the immediate vicinity of the KD landing stage.
