Between Koblenz and Boppard lie the historical town of Rhens and the Rhine villages Brey and Spey. Take a walk along the 5km long river promenade which links them, and explore the Königsstuhl (king's seat), the historical town wall, preserved almost in its entirety, half-timbered houses, the Roman aquaduct, Chapel of St. Peter, and prize-winning vineyards. Due to their proximity to many places of interest the three villages form a popular base from which to explore the many sights of the World Heritage Site.
