Information concerning the landing-stage

• Unfortunately the ticket office in Bad Hönningen is no longer manned. However, all ships on scheduled service do call at the landing-stage, and tickets can be purchased either in the online shop or on board the ship.
• The KD landing-stage in Bad Hönningen is accessible to passengers with restricted mobility.
• Passengers are requested to be at the landing-stage 15 minutes before scheduled sailing time. 
• Payment options: cash.

Getting to the landing-stage by public transport

The railway station in Bad Hönningen is only a short walk from the town centre, the Rhine promenade and the KD landing-stage (approx. 10 minutes).

Getting to the landing-stage by car

There is large free car park close to the KD landing-stage in the Rhine Park below the church and next to the spa.

Free coach parking is available close to the KD landing-stage in the Rhine Park next to the spa and below the church.

Kristall-Rheinpark Therme

The hot spring Kristall-Rheinpark Therme is an oasis situated in the heart of a natural environment directly on the bank of the Rhine. Enjoy the various indoor and outdoor pools, whirlpools and the movement pool with pleasantly warm temperatures of 31°C to 35°C and a salt content of 1.5%.

Theme museum Romans’ World

The theme museum Romans’ World takes you on a journey through time to the Roman era. The start of the Upper Germanic-Rhaetian Limes and of the Roman frontier wall built 2,000 years ago – which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005 – is marked by the reconstructed watchtower no. 1 near the Rhine between Bad Hönningen and Rheinbrohl. The museum can be reached from here in a few minutes. In addition to the interactive exhibition area focusing on the life of the people at the Limes, you can also explore the large surrounding area with the barrack room and workshop, herb garden and Roman bakery.

At the Tourist Information Office in Bad Hönningen you can hire comfortable city bikes.
