Rüdesheim am Rhein is a wine town and lies at the southern gateway to the Middle Rhine Valley.

Rüdesheim is part of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley World Heritage Cultural Landscape. It is located in the Rheingau-Taunus district of Hesse at the foot of the Niederwald forest. The town is part of the Rhine-Main region and is one of Germany’s best-known tourist attractions.

Information about the jetty
  • The KD landing stage in Rüdesheim is suitable for passengers with reduced mobility
  • Passengers are requested to arrive approx. 15 minutes before the desired departure time.
  • Payment options on site: Cash, EC, credit card (Visacard, Mastercard).
Your journey by train/local public transport

Vias/DB Rheingau line, Rüdesheim train station, approx. 10 min walk.

Your journey by car

From the east (WI/FFM) follow the B42 through Rüdesheim (Rheinstraße), the jetty is located about 300 m behind the Adlerturm.

From the west (Koblenz), the B42 crosses the railroad line at the station. The landing stage is on the right about 500 m after the level crossing.

Parking (chargeable): at the tourist information office, about 150 m from the KD landing stage.
Free parking is available about 1.2 km from the landing stage (P5 Auf der Lach).

Travel information for coaches

Bus stop for boarding and alighting in the immediate vicinity of the landing stage.

Bus parking lot (subject to charge) P4, Geisenheimer Straße.
