Königswinter

The picturesque wine village of Königswinter lies on the right bank of the Rhine and stretches all the way up to the summit of Drachenfels.
Königswinter has countless sights and stories to offer. From here, you can also reach Germany’s first nature reserve, the Siebengebirge. High above is the Petersberg Hotel, which has often been the scene of political discussions throughout history. Take the oldest cog railroad up the hill to the Romanesque Drachenfels castle ruins and enjoy a magnificent view of the Rhine Valley. The Drachenburg is located halfway up the Drachenfels.
