Cochem

The unique combination of Imperial Castle, historic old town and countryside attracts many visitors from all over the world year after year and makes Cochem one of the most important tourist destinations on the Moselle.

In addition to Cochem Castle and the old town, the Moselle promenade and the chairlift to the Pinnerberg, which offers a magnificent view of the town and the Moselle valley, are also worth a visit. Also worth a visit are the Cochem leisure center in the Cond district, the nearby Klottens game and leisure park and the Ediger-Eller vacation and golf resort on the Eifelhöhe. A cable car leads up to the hunting lodge in Niederwald, where there are wonderful hiking trails, for example to Niederwalddenkma.
