Boppard lies at the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley and is the beating heart of this vacation region.

In Boppard, the Rhine makes its largest loop, known as Bopparder Hamm. The Bopparder Hamm is also the epitome of the wine-growing region known far beyond the borders of Boppard. From here, you can explore the World Heritage Site in a variety of ways, by boat, bike or on a hiking tour. The most famous viewing platform is the Vierseenblick.

Information about the jetty

The KD landing stage 7 in Boppard is suitable for passengers with reduced mobility
Passengers are requested to arrive approx. 15 minutes before the desired departure time.
Passengers who have not purchased their ticket at the KD Ticket Office in Boppard are requested to report to the Ticket Office on site
Payment options on site: Cash, EC, credit card (Visacard, Mastercard)

MRB (Mittelrheinbahn) station Boppard HBF, approx. 15 minutes on foot

Your journey by car

From the B9 from the north (Koblenz): Follow the B9 through Boppard to the southern end, turn left here and follow the signs for “Fähre”. The KD landing stage is located approx. 200m after the ferry.
From the B9 from the south (Bingen): turn right immediately at the entrance to Boppard and follow the “Fähre” sign. The KD landing stage is located approx. 200m behind the ferry.
Public parking spaces are located along Rheinallee, some of which are subject to charges.

Travel information for coaches

A bus stop for boarding and alighting is located directly at the KD landing bridge.
There is a special parking area for coaches directly on the B9 (St. Remigiusplatz). You will find St. Remigiusplatz coming from the north (Koblenz) directly after entering the town on the right-hand side. A total of around 12 bus parking spaces are available there.
About 100 meters above the car ferry (Rheinallee) you will also find a short-term parking space (30 minutes) for buses.
