Bernkastel-Kues

Bernkastel-Kues, picturesquely situated on the banks of the Moselle, is an idyllic little town that enchants with its historical charm and breathtaking vineyards.
In addition to the picturesque old town with its half-timbered houses and historic market square, the ruins of Landshut Castle are a highlight, towering high above the town and offering spectacular views of the Moselle and the surrounding area. The Cusanus Abbey, a former monastery, now houses the Cusanus Museum and commemorates the famous philosopher Nicholas of Cusa, who was born here.
