Information concerning the landing-stage

• Unfortunately the ticket office in Linz is no longer manned. However, all ships on scheduled service do call at the landing-stage, and tickets can be purchased in the online shop, on board the ship or at the ticket office of our partner PSS.
• Passengers are requested to be at the landing-stage 15 minutes before scheduled sailing time. 
• Payment options: cash.

Getting to the landing-stage by public transport

By regional train to Linz am Rhein Station, approx 10 min. walk. 

Getting to the landing-stage by car

From the south on main road B42 in the direction of Bonn: the KD landing-stage is approximately 500m after you enter the town. 

From the north on main road B42 in the direction of Neuwied: the KD landing stage is approximately 200m beyond the Rhine ferry. 

Parking is available next to the landing-stages and on the other side of the main road under the viaducts. 

Information for coaches

There is a special coach park with 12 places (free of charge) on the B42 main road, right next to the landing-stages. It is only a short walk from there to Linz Old Town. 

Siebengebirge tour

One of the most popular excursion destinations from Wesseling is the Siebengebirge mountain range. We take you right to the heart of this unique idyllic landscape featuring castles and ruins spread around the seven mountains.

Linz Castle

The main leisure experience in Linz is the castle, which was built in 1365. Having been privately renovated in 1984, today the castle offers a range of attractions, for example a dungeon with an armoury, a torture chamber and a “Roman glassworks” demonstrating the art of glass-blowing, plus a large all-year Christmas exhibition. Medieval cuisine awaits you in the great hall, tower room and inner bailey.

Kasbachtalbahn railway

Experience a nostalgic trip in the red railbus through the delightful countryside of the Kasbachtal Valley. The various stops invite you to hike and/or find a place to have something to eat and drink. A one-way trip takes approximately 20 minutes. Operates every Saturday and Sunday and on public holidays from Good Friday to the third Advent weekend, departing from Linz Station, platform 3, every hour from 10.00 am - 6.00 pm/ last trip uphill.
