Bacharach

Bacharach - one of the "prettiest towns in the world".

That was the opinion of Victor Hugo, who visited Bacharach in the 19th century during a trip to the Rhine. Even today visitors can experience genuine history and enjoy pure Rhine romanticism. In addition to wine-tasting and wine-seminars, Rhine cruises and top class hiking paths, a visitor can stroll through the town in the footsteps of the romantics, and enjoy a glass of local wine in one of the many taverns.
