During the annual Night of Loreley, a gigantic festival of light illuminates the sister towns of St. Goar and St. Goarshausen, together with the romantic castles Rheinfels and Katz high above the Rhine.

As soon as the 50 colourfully lit passenger ships turn off their engines in the middle of the Rhine and silently drift on the water, the magnificent spectacle of a thousand lights on Germany’s mightiest river can begin. At the end, the truly captivating finale of the sensational firework display is fired up into the heavens from the middle of the Rhine. Enjoy this unforgettable experience from the very front row on board the KD.
