Festival of 1000 Lights Andernach

The town of the legendary “Baker Boys” and a sparkling blanket of lights are the main attractions at this dazzling festival – and KD offers the perfect seat with an uninterrupted view of the show.

The term “Rhine Romanticism” describes the atmosphere in Andernach perfectly: at the Festival of 1000 Lights, the Rhine promenade along Konrad-Adenauer-Allee shines brightly and brings enchantment to the whole town. The crowning finale of this two-day event is the spectacular firework display, where exploding rockets paint wonderful pictures in the night sky – best watched from the water, naturally on board the KD.
