We depart from Rüdesheim five times a day on this new river boat cruise to Bacharach. During the almost one-hour cruise, we pass such highlights as the ruins of Ehrenfels Castle, the Mäuseturm, Rheinstein, Reichenstein and Sooneck Castles, and finally the proud Stahleck Castle in Bacharach itself. If you have enough time to leave the boat for a while, you shouldn’t miss the chance to take a stroll through the historic alleyways and secluded nooks of the old wine trading centre. Bacharach fascinates visitors with its many beautiful half-timbered houses, its church buildings, which are historically important works of art, its cosy wine taverns and, of course, the imposing castle, now a youth hostel. In one and three quarter hours our boat is then back at the starting point in Rüdesheim. Of course, you can also take your cruise the other way round from Bacharach towards Rüdesheim and back. Rüdesheim offers numerous places of interest easily explored on foot, including the world-famous Drosselgasse.
