This day trip to Monheim begins with a three-hour trip on the Rhine, during which you can relax and let the passing countryside take effect while enjoying delicious dishes from the included lunch buffet. Upon arrival in Monheim, you will learn more about the centuries-old history of the idyllic town situated on the Rhine between Düsseldorf and Cologne and familiarize yourself with its most famous sights. In one of the numerous restaurants in the picturesque old town you can enjoy coffee and cake in peace and quiet or raise a glass of fresh Alt or Kölsch beer. Afterwards, the KD ship cruises gently back to Cologne.

On the outward journey, our guests can help themselves from a delicious lunch buffet with a selection of hot and cold dishes (drinks à la carte).
After we arrive in Monheim we begin our included guided tours for all guests (in small groups), which end in the Old Town. After this you have plenty of free time. We recommend heading back to the jetty via the Rhine dyke (approx. 1.5 km).
