Extensive event program and expansion of the fleet

Lots of variety on board the KD in Cologne

On board the KD event ships MS RheinMagie and MS RheinFantasie as well as the MS RheinVision, which will be refurbished in 2024, guests can expect a varied range of events on board in 2025. In addition to comedy events, readings and party cruises, guests can look forward to special dinner highlights. There are new additions to the KD fleet: The genuine and traditional "Müllemer Böötchen" MS Willi Ostermann is now sailing under the KD flag. And with the modern event ship MS Jules Verne, KD welcomes another new fleet member, which will be used in the event sector in particular. The hotel ship MS KD Moment, which will join the fleet in 2024, will continue to sail from Cologne on event cruises all year round.

Culinary highlights and new ships

A perfect symbiosis of enjoyment and experience awaits guests at the culinary events on board. At the Kitchen Party, the KD chefs will impress with their passion and creativity at various live cooking stations on board. Vintner wines, exquisite drinks and lounge music round off the event. The event will take place on June 26 in Cologne on the MS RheinVision. The popular brunch cruises on the first and third Sunday of every month and the all-inclusive evening cruises on Saturday evenings remain an integral part of the Cologne event calendar.

At the Dinner Moment, the KD crew will serve a seasonal 4-course dinner with matching wines from KD winemakers Lisa Bunn and Tobias Rickes. In addition to Cologne (12.06., 20.09.), the event will also take place in Bonn for the first time in 2025 (03.07. & 13.09.2025) and will be offered in both cities on MS Jules Verne. KD 's new acquisition scores points with its futuristic ambience. In addition to exclusive charter trips, the event ship will also be used for events such as the Rhine in Flames Bonn and the new edition of the "Kölner Lichter".

The second new ship in the KD fleet is MS Willi Ostermann. The traditional "Müllemer Böötchen" is familiar to many Cologne residents and will be used alongside the other Cologne ships on KD 's panoramic cruises. Small groups of 40 guests or more can also hire the ship exclusively.

The original murder mystery dinner and cabaret dinner cruises

KD presents the best entertainment on the stages of the KD event ships. The live comedy show "Nightwash" makes a guest appearance on October 19 with new stand-up comedians. The Original Krimi Dinner takes place this year on December 7. For witty, cabaret dinner trips, each including a 3-course menu, cabaret artist Jürgen

Becker on December 14 ("The Cause Lies in the Future") and artist and author Konrad Beikircher on November 30 ("Sternstunden - Beikircher's Christmas Special").

New event cruises from Cologne on the hotel ship KD Moment

In April 2024, KD launched trendy event cruises on its new hotel ship "KD Moment". In 2025, KD will remain true to its successful formats. In spring, there will be party cruises from Cologne to the Middle Rhine and from Düsseldorf to Rotterdam or Amsterdam, while in fall there will be wine festivals in Boppard and Rüdesheim. In December, the hotel ship then sets sail for Advent and Christmas cruises. The crowning finale is the New Year's Eve cruise.

Open-air dance floor every Friday

KD 's popular party program returns on Friday evenings with its classics: Sion-Kölsch-Disco, 80s/90s Party, Express Ü29 and Mallorca Party with live acts such as Stefan Stürmer and Ikke Hüftgold are the formats. The traditional Dance into May and Mother's and Father's Day events are also included in the timetable.

Children's rides for the youngest guests

KD has also come up with something for Cologne's younger guests. Set sail as a daredevil pirate or go on a magical search for clues in the jungle - on three dates during the summer vacations, light sailors aged between three and eleven can immerse themselves in colorful worlds and look forward to lots of surprises (23.07., 06.08., 20.08.2025). Tickets 21 euros.

Cologne classics and new offers in Bonn

The daily 1-hour panoramic cruises in Cologne and the popular trips to Drachenfels in the Siebengebirge mountains will remain an integral part of the program, as will the day trips to Zons and Monheim. On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from June 5 until the end of September, the event ships will once again set sail on the popular lounge evening cruises with DJ. A new addition is the expansion of the offer in Bonn. Both lounge evening cruises and, for the first time, the Dinner Moment and a Christmas party will take place here in 2025.
