KD starts the season with a proven range and new highlights

With its spectacular new MS RheinGalaxie, Köln-Düsseldorfer has set new standards for the event sector in Düsseldorf. In 2025, guests can expect a perfectly composed entertainment program of thrillers, culinary delights and a touch of Hollywood. The modern hotel ship "KD Moment" stands for the successfully introduced event cruises, which mainly take place from Düsseldorf to the Netherlands and Belgium.

Popular KD event formats: Hollywood Night and Kitchen Party

A real event highlight awaits guests on board the KD this summer: at
the Kitchen Party on September 14, the chefs of the KD will be on top form. Together with their team, they will surprise guests with sophisticated culinary creations and show off their skills in a highly motivated manner. Guests can look forward to an enjoyable evening with various live cooking stations and harmonious wines and cocktails. Many musical surprises will round off the balmy summer evening on the sun deck of the MS RheinGalaxie in Düsseldorf. Tickets 129 euros all-inclusive.

A touch of glamor, glitter, magic and music envelops guests at the Hollywood Night on December 7. The versatile artist Nadine Ciechocinski presents the program "Frank Sinatra & Friends". As part of a 3-course menu, guests are part of the ensemble and can experience the stars and starlets of the good old days up close.

Creepiness and enjoyment at the "Original Crime Dinner"

With the "Original Krimidinner", KD has a nationally successful event format on board for the fourth time in a row, which has repeatedly ensured sold-out ships in recent years. This year, the plays "Der Teufel der Rennbahn" (19.10.2025), "Ein Leichenschmaus" (30.11.2025) and "Sherlock Holmes" (14.12.2025) will be performed on board. And because a successful murder hunt requires strength, a 3-course menu is served on each of the crime thriller evenings. This unique combination of thriller and enjoyment is available for 92 euros including menu and boat tour.

In addition to the new products, many established formats are once again an integral part of the Düsseldorf program. On the all-inclusive evening cruises on Saturdays from May to October, you can once again feast at a price of 89 euros per person. Every 1st and
3. Sunday, the KD ships set sail for a brunch cruise with the best views of the state capital. Tickets 47 euros per person, children 24 euros.

Event cruises with our own hotel ship "KD Moment"

Having already offered party cruises on a chartered hotel ship in 2022 and 2023, KD further expanded its cruise program from Düsseldorf in 2024 and deployed its own hotel ship, the MS KD Moment, for the first time. In addition to the popular weekend party cruises to Amsterdam or Rotterdam, 2025 will also see the return of beach and city cruises to the Netherlands and Belgium. In 2025, the hotel ship will also sail to Amsterdam for Halloween for the first time. The classic event cruise from Friday to Sunday with two overnight stays and full board can be booked from 399 euros per person.

Open-air party feeling on MS RheinGalaxie. NEW: House Wine Cruise

The KD party calendar is well filled again in 2025. The party kick-off in Düsseldorf is traditionally the Dance into May on April 30. A brand new addition to the program is the House Wine Cruise (20.06. & 22.08.2025). The wine party features EDM, techno, charts and mainstream sounds. The Strandpiraten (29.06., 24.08.2025) will provide the finest electronic beats from the state capital. There's even more electronic music for your ears at the Summer Beats (06.06., 11.07., 01.08., 29.08., 19.09.2025). The Beats on Board party series (25.07., 12.09.2025) is also a great place to party, with a danceable mix of house, mainstream, charts and hardstyle with DJane Sintica, who is well-known from Twitch.Schlager fans, on the other hand, will get their money's worth at Schlager Welle - this time with artists Conner Meister (13.06.), Almklausi (08.08.) and Norman Langen (05.09.2025). The Ghost Ship sets sail on 31 October and the popular Italian Sunday event "Bella Italia" (22.06.2025) is also back on the program. Tickets for all party cruises cost 34 euros in advance.

Panoramic trips, lounge evening trips with DJ and day trips to the surrounding area

The 1-hour panoramic cruises with six departures a day are and will remain an integral part of the KD program. The MS RheinPoesie, the second ship for Düsseldorf, is also in operation here. From June 5, the KD will once again weigh anchor at Düsseldorf's Burgplatz on Thursdays at 8 pm for the lounge evening cruise. These chilled-out tours with DJ along the evening city panorama last two hours. If you want to spend a whole day on the boat, you should make a note of Wednesday: Duisburg, Monheim, Zons and Cologne are the destinations of the day trips.
