KD’s Two-inOne Tickets are still all the rage. In combination with a relaxing cruise we now have a range of inexpensive leisure ideas which provide variety on shore. Particularly in the Siebengebirge Mountains area, KD has come up with three different offers. In Königswinter, KD guests can now choose between a visit to the fascinating large-scale aquarium SEA LIFE Königswinter or a ride up to Drachenfels Cliff with Germany’s oldest cog railway as well as a visit to the model railway exhibition at Drachenfels Station. These sensational Two-in-One Tickets cost as little as EURO 2.50 on top of the normal cruise price.

But it is also worthwhile staying on board a bit longer and sailing to Linz, the “Colourful Town on the Rhine”. With the start of the season a completely new attraction is being opened in Linz Castle. The exhibition “Rhine Cruising and Rhine Romanticism”, organised jointly by KD, the Cologne Municipal Museum, the castle owner Burkhard Krings and the Borough of Linz, contains numerous model ships, paintings, historic exhibits and valuable artifacts from the KD archives which bring to life the history of Rhine shipping. Anf the best part of it is that admission to Linz Castle is included in the normal KD cruise fare from Cologne, Wesseling or Bonn.
